Katrien Sterckx

Having graduated as a commercial engineer at the KULeuven, I have had the benefit in my professional life of gaining considerable experience first as a consultant in companies such as Accenture and Methis Consulting and as an executive at different companies within the Eneco Group.

Taking a good look at both the experience I gained during these assignments and my desired further activities & personal development, I decided to start my own consulting company to help companies and people, professionally and personally grow. “Create Growth”,  that is where both my added value is and where I can make a difference for these companies & their human capital. Next to that I joined the Guberna network, first as a trainee, later as a mentee to further professionalize board skills.

Prior to going back to my consulting roots – I took multiple roles within the management committee of Eneco:

• Manager Innovations & Ventures Belgium:  the internationalization of the products and services from Eneco’s Innovations & Ventures Company, within Belgium. This concerns platforms for smart home, smart outdoor, smart buildings & smart flex within solar & storage, mobility, community and heating solutions.
• Manager Strategy, Innovation and Public Relations for Eneco Belgium.
• Manager IT, PMO & Business Processes : set up of a new organization, complex IT infrastructures, advanced project implementations and process management changes and optimization.

I was a leading business consultant/manager (Accenture and Methis Consulting) of several major market changes for Belgium’s largest utility company.
